Easter and Springtime
Yes, I realize I am posting Easter quite late, but it’s been a busy week. I wanted to do it on Monday but we left our camera at Craig’s sister’s house, so that didn’t happen.
Easter was wonderful and the girls absolutely loved it. We spent the week with Easter crafts, an Easter party with Jaycee’s preschool friends, and geared up for the big Easter Weekend.
FRIDAY
Friday night we kicked off Easter weekend with a Flashlight Egg Hunt. This has been our family tradition for the past three years, but this year we missed our good friends in Columbia who were too far away to join us. This year we were joined by some of Craig’s family – Christie and her cute little boy Carter, and Sarah and Bryon and their three boys Jayden, Ammon, and Parker. Kathy and Kiera came as well. It was a great time!
Here they are lined up and ready to hunt! On your mark, get set, Go!

And they were off in the field finding those eggs…

They got quite a loot!
SATURDAY

Then, all 3 of us girls got haircuts – thanks Linz!
This was Rylee’s first “real” cut –I’ve always trimmed it but she hasn’t had anyone else cut it, and as you can see she was not happy about it.

We also had a great time “egging” Margaret’s car with paper eggs and goodies – with Tammy, Emily, and Lindsay’s help.
Then we spent the evening coloring eggs and watching the new Velvitine Rabbit movie.

EASTER SUNDAY
And the moment the girls have been waiting for for three long weeks…. They finally get to wear their Easter dresses!

We were able to go to Craig’s sister’s church to see his nephew Chris speak – he just returned from a mission to the Republica Dominicana. It was nice spending time with the family there and having lunch with them all afterward. Oh, AND we ran into Elder Fagenburg from our old ward in South Carolina! It was fun to see him there serving a mission in Utah!
Here are some more pics of the girls in their dresses…

i need to get busy doing other things today, But there is still more Easter and Springtime to come…

They were so cute in there dresses. Especially when they decided to roll down the hill in our front yard. I am glad you guys are back.
