Valentine’s Day
We had a pretty good Valentine’s day considering 105+ fevers and everyone in the house was sick. We spend the day lazing around trying to get everyone rested and taking care of sick girls that could barely walk down the hall. But we still had a good time just being together and loving each other. The girls had a lot of fun opening their Valentine’s presents - in bed.
Jaycee also missed her Valentine’s party at Preschool, but her teacher was nice enough to send her home a bag of valentine’s from all of her classmates (we sent some for them as well).
For Valentine’s evening we had to cancel our date, but we had fun doing a double date at home with my parents and the kids. We got chinese food and watched a movie. It was nice being together.
I am so tired of everyone being sick. I can’t wait until we all feel better again. It seems we get sick for so long! All I can say is the girls better feel well tomorrow or I am going to loose my mind!

Sleepover
Last weekend (yes I am once again behind), we had a fun Saturday with eight kids running around playing, followed by a sleepover. We were babysitting 4 of the girls, and then my sister also brought over her 2 little boys to play during the day. They had so much fun. In the evening we played with all the girls, then had Brielle and Makelle sleepover for four nights, and it was so much fun. I loved getting to know these girls better since we lived away for so long, and we had a blast playing together, going to the park, doing art projects, and so much more!

Finally some family fun
This week has been SOOO long. Too much work, too much to do, and not enough energy. The poor girls have been cooped up in the house other than running errands and going to preschool, oh, and going to dad’s church ball game. But this weekend will be different.
Friday I bagged the rest of my to-do list and took the girls out for some fun. They chose to go to the Treehouse Museum and then out to eat at Arctic Circle. We also went to the library. Man, was I tired by the time we got home, and you’d think they would be too, but nope, they were still full of energy! Go figure.

Long time…
Okay, so it’s been quite a while since i have posted. Partly because I have been super busy, but also because nothing exciting has been going on - just the same ol’ boring stuff.
Mostly we have just been working, hanging out at the house, and with family. Craig has been working on his geneology, which has been interesting, I have been helping the March of Dimes plan their big fundraiser, March for Babies, and we’ve had weekends packed with house cleaning and visiting family.
On the 28th of January Jaycee had an appointment up at Primary Children’s for a series of tests on her kidneys. We found out that at this point she does not need surgery, but unfortunately she does have scar tissue on her kidneys which will probably mean frequent UTI’s. We are getting used to them though and can usually spot them and treat them quickly.
Other than that things are pretty boring in our world. Jaycee and Rylee have been having a great time living with Grandma and Grandpa. They are always excited every day to show G-ma and G-pa their clothes and hair after it gets done in the morning, which I think is funny. And they love cooking with grandma even more than they do with me. They also love doing arts and craft projects with Grandma. Jaycee asks Grandma almost every day to do a craft with her. It’s cute - but we have to be creative to think of things she can do.
