A fun weekend

Filed under: Uncategorized — JaNae @ 4:47 pm

Last weekend we had fun doing holiday things with the kids. We did more decorating around the house, watched a few holiday movies, and did some fun activities.

On Saturday morning the girls made Gingerbread Houses!  This is always one of my favorite holiday activities and this year was no exception. This was Jaycee’s 3rd year making one, and Rylee’s second. I thought they did a great job, and we had a lot of fun!

Jaycee especially was very into it and was very strategic with where she placed her candies. Rylee on the other hand was more interested in eating the candy. She had a lot of fun at first but it got old to her after a while. But they both did a beautiful job!

Then on Saturday night we headed out to Pleasant View to hear our beautiful niece Emily Sing and attend Tammy’s Stake’s nativity program. It was really cool. They had hundreds of nativities to look at and a scavenger hunt for kids, plus activity rooms, a live nativity, and live performances.

We took pictures of the girls in a nativity scene, and they were so cute.  But check out the baby Jesus. Who was in charge of bringing that doll? it is as big as the girls, and what is up with the mop head???

  1. Wow you guys are hardcore gingerbread decoraters!! Those turned out SO SO good. Mine always seem to fall apart before we are even finished decorating them. I love the pics of the girls all dressed up for the Nativity.
